Inventory management - Subsets
Orderwave lets your organization implement your own classification of inventory quantities called "subsets". This means
that you can create subsets for active inventory, on hold inventory, reserved inventory, damaged inventory, reworkable
inventory - really any type that you can think of. With these customizable categorizations, you'll find that your
inventory management accuracy will increase dramatically.
Kits and virtual kits (VKits)
With inventory kits, you can assemble sub-components into master SKUs, automatically deducting inventory from the sub-parts.
When it comes time to assemble more, if the inventory is available in the sub components, Orderwave will let you pull inventory
directly into your master SKU (kit).
Taking this powerful feature a step further, Orderwave will let you virtually assemble kits into phantom master SKUs. With this type of kit, it isn't necessary to pull inventory from the sub components at the time of assembly - all of the inventory quantities will remain with the sub components. At the time of inventory deduction, Orderwave will pull the necessary inventory from the sub-parts automatically. This functionality gives you the freedom to create different packages for different campaigns, test market at different price points, create "pointer" SKUs to other parts, and more.

Transactional inventory management
Every time inventory is deducted, moved, assembled, transfered - or any change whatsoever, a corresponding inventory
transaction must be created. This level of transactional detail makes sure that every item is accounted for in your
inventory reporting.
Some features may only be available with certain packages of Orderwave. Contact
